Note the date! Due to venue availability the meeting is a week later than normal this month.

Mark Fouts will share his stories of becoming a mountaineer as a teenager in Alaska in the 1970s. Adventures included traveling the length of the Marcus Baker Glacier after ascending the North Peak of Mount Marcus Baker (12360 feet), first ascents in the Friday Creek drainage, and in the dead of winter, making the first-ever mountaineering foray into the Tokosha Mountains, as well as other first ascents in the Chugach and Kenai Mountains.
